‹› Removal - sedan:

-

Remove upper C-pillar trim. Refer to => [ C-Pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Trim.

-

Remove the rear shelf. Refer to => [ Rear Shelf ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Trim. 

-

Remove insulation part under rear shelf.

-

Remove luggage compartment side trim. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Side Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service
and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Trim.

‹› Removal - Avant:

-

Remove luggage compartment side trim. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Side Trim ] .

‹› All:

-

Remove bolt - 2 - on belt module/belt tensioner -  1 - from luggage compartment from below.

-

Loosen bolt - 5 - on outer seat anchorage point (eyes on end of belt).

-

To disconnect harness connector - 7 -, open retainer using a screwdriver (USA).

-

Loosen cable with clip.

‹› Installing:

-

When installing belt module - 1 -, ensure bolt -  2 - is in small diameter hole in retainer - 3 - both during and after tightening.

-

Ensure noise protection cap - 8 - on belt module -  1 - is seated correctly.

-

Ensure the belt tensioner wire - 4 - is clipped in and not in belt area.

-

Ensure connector - 7 - (USA) is engaged correctly. 

-

Perform further installation in sequence opposite of removal.
