Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Remove seat:

‹› Standard seat: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Standard Front Seat ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Standard Front Seat, From November 2004. 

‹› Electric seat: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Power Front Memory Seat ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Power Front Memory Seats, From November 2004. 

Removing

‹› The passenger occupant detection system safety belt latch is only installed on the passenger seat.

CAUTION!
Replace the passenger occupant detection system safety belt latch each time the passenger belt tensioner deploys.

Removing

-

Disconnect connector - 1 - under seat.
