Tightening Specifications

‹› This version was installed or retrofitted in certain markets.
-
Remove bolt - 1 -.
-
Remove retaining clips - 2 - and - 3 - from transmission.
-
Remove ATF breather pipe - A - and ventilation pipe - B - from opening in the transmission.
Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Insert new ATF breather pipe - A - until it reaches stop.
‹› The ventilation pipe - B - must be pushed in all the way onto the ATF breather pipe - A -.

Secure ATF breather pipe to the transmission housing using the strap and bolt - 1 -.

Install retaining clips - 2 - and - 3 - all the way onto the ribs on the transmission housing cover.

Install ventilation pipe - B - by hand between the bolt - 1 - and retaining clip - 2 - making sure there is no tension on the clip - 2 -.
