Carefully push shaft seal onto the input shaft with the open side facing the transmission without touching splines on the shaft.
‹› The shaft seal can be damaged if it touches the input shaft splines.
‹› Slide shaft seal as far as possible into cover so that it cannot bend when driving in.

Drive in shaft seal until it stops using thrust piece (T40015).

Fill with ATF => [ ATF, Filling for ATF Flush ] See: Fluid - CVT/Service and Repair/01J,0AN Transmission/ATF, Filling for ATF Flush.

After installing the transmission, check ATF level and add if necessary.
