Work preparations

Note:

The procedure described below will save you the effort of removing the center console.

-

Cut through adjustment pin for shift lock 3 3352 A at rear end of flat area -arrow- using a cutting grinder.

CAUTION!

Wear eye protection.

-

Order a new adjustment pin for shift lock as a replacement for other use.

Work procedure

-

Position steering wheel column adjustment all the way and back toward drivers seat.

-

Remove cover for shift mechanism.

-

Remove ashtray in center console.
