Lift retaining clip -2- from interlock lever and pull locking cable -1- out of ignition/starter switch.

Raise retaining tab -A- and remove locking lever in direction of -arrow- from locking cable eye pins.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Route locking cable without kinks under wiring harness -arrow A- and behind instrument panel brace -arrow B-.

Turn ignition key into driving position "ignition on".
