‹› Always blow compressed air through the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) cooler and pipes (max. 10 mbar) and replace the auxiliary ATF

filter before installing a replacement transmission. Refer to => [ ATF Cooler and Pipes Cleaning ] See: Procedures/01J Transmission. If extremely
dirty ATF flows out when blowing with compressed air, the ATF cooler and pipes must also be flushed with clean ATF.

‹› To install, first insert the ATF pipes into the transmission or cooler by hand as far as they will go, then bolt on.

‹› Check the ATF level after replacing the ATF pipes. Refer to => [ ATF Level Checking ] See: Fluid - CVT/Service and Repair/01J

Transmission/ATF Level Checking.
