Raise the transmission slightly using the engine and transmission jack (VAG 1383 A).

First remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 -, then bolts - 3 - and - 4 -.
-
Remove nuts - arrows - and slide the tunnel crossmember slightly toward the rear.
-
Remove bolts - 2 - and remove the transmission mount - 1 - from the transmission.
