Carefully widen slightly the lower edge on inside of new window weatherstrip - 1 - using a plastic wedge - 2 -.

Coat this edge and carrier part with e.g. soap solution to assist installation.

Insert window weatherstrip - 1 - from above and carefully press window weatherstrip completely onto carrier part by hand.
