Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pry Lever (80 - 200)

Removing

‹› If the windshield wiper motor is to be run during the work procedure, the hood must be closed, otherwise the voltage supply of the wiper motor

will be interrupted.

Remove plenum chamber cover rubber seal in - direction of arrow -.

-

Remove plenum chamber cover - 1 - forward.

-

Remove the wiper arms - 2 -- 3 and 4 -. Refer to => [ Windshield Wiper Arms ] See: Wiper Arm/Service and Repair/Windshield Wiper Arms.

CAUTION!
To prevent the cowl grille - 5 - from cracking when removing, coat the transition between the windshield and cowl grille with some soapy water
and carefully pull the cowl panel trim vertically out of the retainer on the windshield beginning at the edge of the window.

Remove securing clips - 1 - and remove cowl panel grille - 5 -.

Remove plenum chamber E-box cover - arrows -.
