Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Pin wrench -3212-
  W00-0462
t  Drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208-

Removing
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.
–  Remove poly V-belt → Chapter.
–  Release retaining clip -2- and detach connection from radiator.
  Note
Disregard -item 1-.
  A19-10542
–  Remove bolts for coolant pump pulley -arrows- (counterhold with pin wrench -3212-).
  A19-11143
–  Place drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208- beneath engine.
–  Remove bolts -arrows- and detach coolant pump.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torques → Chapter „Coolant pump - exploded view“
–  Clean sealing surface.
–  Install poly V-belt → Chapter.
–  Fill up with coolant → Anchor.
