6. Apply a piece of duct tape to the speaker connector as shown in Figure 8.

Apply the tape in such a way as to isolate any possible vibration from the connector but not so tight that the tape compresses the connector lock.

7. Apply insulation strip material 8E0-831-575-A to the points of contact between the window regulator cables and the door shell as shown in Figures
9-11.

In some cases (as in Figure 10), two pieces of insulation strip material may need to be bonded together to achieve the proper dampening.
