Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 28 number 11 - 15 dated March 24, 2011 for reasons listed below.

AFFECTED VEHICLE

CONDITION
^ With the engine running, static noise that varies with engine RPM is heard on the AM radio band.

^ Only vehicles with the 2.0 TFSI engine (engine code CAEB) and generation 3 Concert radio (PR No. 8UQ) are affected.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

Static noise possible with ignition coils 06H 905 115 due to the ground circuitry.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION 

Changed ignition coils.

SERVICE

1. Verify customer concern.

2. Check whether the ignition coils have part number 06H 905 115.

3. Replace all 4 ignition coils with part number listed in Parts section below.
