TV Tuner, through October 31, 2008

The TV Tuner (R78) is located behind the luggage compartment left side trim in the Infotainment rack.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Protective Cap for Cable Connector (VAS 6223/9)

If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine. 

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051) to do so.

Turn off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove ignition key.

Removing

-

Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

-

Loosen the nuts - 3 - - 1 -, - 2 -, - 4 - - 5 - on the Infotainment rack.

-

Tip rack into luggage compartment until screws on TV Tuner (R78) - 3 - can be reached.
