Remove TV Tuner (R78) - 4 - from rack - 5 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ TV System Assembly Overview, from November 03, 2008 ] See: Service and Repair.

Speech Input Control Module, through October 31, 2008

The Speech Input Control Module (J507) is located in the Radio (R) (MMI) behind luggage compartment left side trim.

Turn off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove ignition key.

-

If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine. 

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051) to do so.

Removing

Remove Radio (R) (MMI)=> [ MMI Satellite Radio, through October 31, 2008 ] See: Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Service and Repair/Radio
System.

Open cover - 2 - of Radio (R) and fold it down - arrow -.

-

Carefully pull Speech Input Control Module (J507) - 1 - out of Radio (R) in direction of arrow.
