Condition
The left side rear lid hinge cover is loose.
Technical Background
Due to too little clearance between the left rear lid hinge cover and the left luggage compartment side trim, the rear lid hinge cover interferes with the
luggage compartment side trim (Figure 1). As a result, the rear lid hinge cover is forced loose.
This can also happen if a heavy object is against the luggage compartment side trim.
Production Solution
A support rib was installed in the frame of the left luggage compartment side trim to increase the clearance.
