Driver Side Instrument Panel Cover

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing

-

Remove the side cover on the driver side instrument panel. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Side Cover ] See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service
and Repair/Instrument Panel.

Remove the side bolt - 1 -.

-

Remove the lower bolts - 3 -.

-

Unclip the top edge of the driver side instrument panel cover - 2 - from the instrument panel - arrows - using a trim removal wedge (3409).

-

Unclip the 16-pin connector (T16) (Data Link Connector).

-

Versions with footwell lighting: Disconnect electrical connectors. 

-

Disconnect the driver side instrument panel cover.
