CAUTION!
‹› Loosen bolts - 3 - only after checking electrical or electronic components and wires.

‹› After loosening the bolts - 3 -, replace the lower section of the seat pan - 2 - including the seat forward/back adjustment motor.

CAUTION!
Before handling pyrotechnic components (e.g. disconnecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static
electricity ". This can be done by touching door striker, for example.

Switch the ignition on.

-

Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition switched on. 

-

Remove the bolts - 3 - (Qty. 4) on both sides.

I

Seat forward/back adjustment motor, threaded connection on sill side.

II

Seat forward/back adjustment motor, threaded connection on tunnel side.

‹› To remove the tunnel side bolts, reach under the seat from the front. 

CAUTION!

Disconnect the connector on the seat forward/back adjustment motor.

Move seat until bolts - 1 - (Qty. 4) are visible.
