‹› When sliding the shaft in, do not engage the locking bushing - 4 - with the spindle - 2 -.

‹› Only engage the locking bushing - 4 - after adjusting the switch unit with the spindle - 2 -.

Backrest Adjustment Motor and Switch Unit, Installing

Slide the shaft - 3 - through the spindle - 2 - and the anchor (sill side) as far as the stop.

Apply locking compound fluid (D 000 600 A2) to the shaft threaded piece.

-

Install the new nut - 5 - on the shaft - 3 -.

-

Tighten the bolt - 5 - to the specified torque.

-

Bolt the backrest adjustment motor on the bracket - 3 - and tighten it to the tightening specification.
