Noise Insulation

Removing

-

Switch ignition off.

-

Remove the shift knob with the shift lever boot => [ Shift Knob and Boot ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Manual
Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter M/T/Service and Repair/Shift Knob and Boot. 

-

Remove the multimedia control head (E380)

-

Release the tabs - 1 - in the - direction of the arrow -. Raise the rear noise insulation when doing this.

-

Remove the boot from the shift lever in the - direction of the arrow -.

Installing
