Rear Brake Caliper with Brake Carrier

Removing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque wrench (V.A.G 1332)

‹› Reversible ratchet (V.A.G. 1332/1)

Raise vehicle.

-

Remove wheels.

-

Remove bolts on brake carrier - 16 and 17 -.

-

Remove brake caliper with brake pads and brake carrier.

Do not let brake caliper with brake carrier hang from the brake hose. Secure it to the body with suitable cable ties or wire. Do not support
weight with the brake hose.

CAUTION!
Do not operate the brake and electronic parking brake when the caliper is removed.
