Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair
FN-3 Front Brake Disc

FN-3 Front Brake Disc

Removing

-

Raise vehicle.

-

Remove wheels.

-

Remove brake caliper with brake pads and front brake carrier => [ Removal and Installation ] See: Brake Caliper.

Do not let the brake caliper with the brake carrier hang from the brake hose. Secure it to the body with suitable cable ties or wire. Do not
support weight with the brake hose.

Remove securing bolt - arrow - on brake disc while holding disc firmly.

Remove disc brake.

‹› When removing the brake disc from the wheel hub, do not tilt the disc. 

Installing

Clean brake disc, wheel hub and contact surfaces before installing.

Place brake disc on hub.

‹› When positioning the brake disc, do not tilt it on the wheel hub.

-

Install securing bolt - arrow - and tighten.
