Place the Used Oil Collecting and Extracting Device (V.A.G 1782) under the disconnection point.

‹› Follow the rules for clean working conditions when working on the transmission.

Remove bolts - arrow - and disconnect the ATF lines from the transmission.

‹› To prevent ATF from leaking, secure all ATF lines to the top of the longitudinal member.

Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set (VAS 6122).

Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 - and remove the bumper cover end panel toward the rear.

Remove left and right bolts - 1 -.
