Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Used Oil Collecting and Extracting Device (V.A.G 1782)

‹› Hand drill with plastic brush attachment

‹› Protective eyewear

‹› Sealant

Removing

-

Remove oil cooler. Refer to => [ Oil Cooler ] See: Oil Cooler/Service and Repair/Oil Cooler.

Drain engine oil.

Remove nuts - arrows - and stabilizer bar.

Vehicles with multitronic transmission 0AW/automatic transmission 0B6: Remove the bolt - arrow - for the ATF line bracket.
