A5 Quattro Coupe V6-3.2L (CALA) (2009)
Service
1. If P0016, P0017, P0018, or P0019 is stored, disassemble the corresponding camshaft adjustment valve (N205, N318, N208 or N319).
2. Swap the solenoid with a solenoid from the other bank.
^ If the DTC is now set on the bank where the solenoid is installed, the solenoid is inoperative. Replace the solenoid. Make sure the cylinder head
opening for the solenoid is clean.
3. If no obstruction is found and condition persists, open a new warranty claim and follow Guided Fault Finding.
Tip: If P0087 is stored in conjunction with P0016, P0087 may have been set by an incorrect cam position, which can be caused by an inoperative cam
solenoid. Please first repair P0016 and only follow GFF for P0087 if it persists.
