A/C Compressor Regulator Valve, Electrical Test

‹› The electrical test of the A/C Compressor Regulator Valve (N280) control is described in the A/C Guided Fault Finding. Refer to Vehicle

Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

‹› The A/C Compressor Regulator Valve (N280) activation takes place via the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).  The request to

activate the A/C Compressor Regulator Valve (N280) and the necessary current strength (controlling the compressor output in order to reach the
desired temperature on the evaporator) is sent via the data bus system he A/C Control Head Climatronic Control Unit (J255) to the Vehicle
Electrical System Control Module (J519). The Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) the controls the A/C Compressor Regulator
Valve (N280).

‹› If a malfunction is recognized in the A/C Compressor Regulator Valve (N280) control, then a malfunction is entered into the memory of the

Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) and of the A/C Control Head Climatronic Control Unit (J255). When reading the A/C Control
Head Climatronic Control Unit (J255) memory, you will be request to check the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) memory. Refer
to Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.
