‹› The plastic catch on the threaded ring breaks off when the union nut is loosened.

Carefully remove fuel level sensor 2 (G169) - 3 - from fuel tank opening.

‹› When removing, be sure not to bend floater arm of Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169).

Disconnect electrical connector - 2 - by pressing release - arrow A -.

Press bracket together with needle nose pliers - B arrows - and remove suction line - 1 -.

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications => [ Fuel Delivery Unit and Fuel Level Sensor Assembly Overview ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and

Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit and Fuel Level Sensor Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace sealing ring and union nut.

Install suction line - 1 - until it engages audibly.
