Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair

CAUTION!
Risk of death due to high voltage, injury risk and environmental hazard.
Removing
-
Remove headlamp housings, Refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ]. See: Service and Repair/Bi-Xenon HID Headlamps With Cornering
Light/Headlamp Housing

Release spring clip - arrow - and remove gas discharge lamp housing cover - 1 - from headlamp housing.

Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.

Turn the circlip - 3 - in - direction of arrow - and remove the HID lamp - 2 - from the housing.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Insert the new HID bulb into the housing without touching the bulb with bare hands.
‹› Installation location: The electrical connection faces down.
