Secondary Air Injection Combination Valves, Checking for Function and Leaks

Procedure

‹› Hose connections properly sealed.

-

Remove plenum chamber bulkhead. 

Right secondary air injection (AIR) combi-valve:

-

Free up the fuel line - 1 - and the wire - 2 - to the EVAP canister at the air guide pipe.

Remove vacuum hose - 3 - from the connection on the air guide pipe.

Remove the air guide pipe by loosening the hose clamp - 4 - and opening the clips - arrows -.

Continued for both sides:

-

Remove the bolts - 2 - and push the secondary air hoses to the side.
