Right Catalytic Converter, with Automatic Transmission

Right Catalytic Converter

Removing

-

Remove right front muffler => [ Front Muffler ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Muffler/Service and Repair/Front Muffler.

-

Remove Oxygen Sensor (O2S) behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G130).

-

Remove plenum chamber bulkhead 

-

Remove bolt - 1 - for the power steering hydraulic fluid line bracket.

CAUTION!
Suspension components could be damaged.

‹› Do not rest the vehicle on its wheels if the subframe mount, steering gear or subframe cross brace are not installed correctly.

Remove bolts - arrows - and subframe cross brace. 

-

Remove bolt - 2 -, press retaining tab off transmission and tilt it back - arrow -.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - and bracket.

-

Remove nuts - arrows - and right catalytic converter.
