Leak Detection Pump: Service and Repair

Leak Detection Pump

Removing

-

Remove EVAP canister. Refer to => [ EVAP Canister ] See: Evaporative Emission Control Canister/Service and Repair. 

-

Free the electrical connector - 2 -.

-

Remove bolts - 3 -.

-

Unclip the leak detection pump - 1 - from the bracket on the EVAP canister.

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ EVAP Canister and Leak Detection System Assembly Overview ] See: Service and Repair/EVAP Canister

and Leak Detection System Assembly Overview. 

Installation is in the reverse order of removal, noting the following: 

‹› Replace the gasket.

Install EVAP canister. Refer to => [ EVAP Canister ] See: Evaporative Emission Control Canister/Service and Repair.
