CAUTION!
Before handling pyrotechnic components (e.g. disconnecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static
electricity ". This can be done by touching door striker, for example.

Disconnect the connector - 4 -.

-

Release the connector lock - 3 - using a small screwdriver - 1 - and disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - from the gas generator.

Remove the side curtain airbag bolt - 3 - on the roof frame.

-

Remove the nuts - 1 - and - 2 - on the ground pins.

Disengage the side curtain airbag retaining tab clips - 1 - from the body by pressing the locking mechanisms together - arrows - using needle nose
pliers.
