Installing

CAUTION!
‹› Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

‹› Before handling pyrotechnic components (e.g. connecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static

electricity ". This can be done by touching door striker, for example.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

If parts of the seat belt system are removed due to an accident, replace the belt system mounting bolts.

‹› Ensure that electrical connections are pushed in as far as stop and engage with a click.

Insert the belt tensioner with the anti-twist mechanism - 1 - in the mount - 2 - - arrow - and tighten the bolt.

CAUTION!
Ignition must be on when connecting battery. If pyrotechnic components (e.g. airbag, belt tensioner) are not repaired correctly, they may
deploy unintentionally after connecting battery. There must not be anyone inside the vehicle when connecting the battery.

Disconnect the battery ground wire with the ignition switched on.

After installing the passenger side three-point seat belt, check the child seat anchorage function of the belt, refer to => [ Child Seat Anchorage,
