Tow Sensor: Service and Repair

Towing Recognition Control Module

Removing

-

If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or " Guided
Functions" Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.

-

Select the function or path:

-

Follow further instructions on display of (VAS 5051B).

Open the luggage compartment right side trim.

-

Release retaining clips - arrow - and tilt the Towing Recognition Control Module (J345) - item 1 - out of the retaining frame.

-

Disconnect the electrical connectors - 2 - and - 3 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
