Ensure that the charging clamps do not contact each other, as the remote positive and negative jumper posts are located close to one another.

Locate the DIN value on the top of the battery (Figure 1).

For batteries with DIN value 450, enter DIN value 250 into the charger when requested.

For batteries with DIN value 520, enter DIN value 300 into the charger when requested.

This value difference is due to the Battery Energy Manager (BEM) and added resistance in the system between the battery and remote jumper posts.
