Remove piston - 2 - with T-handle - 3 -.

Release coil spring completely.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Insert bottom side of coil spring in spring tensioning system (VAS 6274).

Position end of left coil spring in spring tensioning system (VAS 6274) at "L" marking - arrow  -.

Position end of right coil spring in spring tensioning system (VAS 6274) at "R" marking.

Insert pressure plate with lock (VAS 6274/10-2) and install piston - 2 - with T-handle - 3 -.
