Fluid Line/Hose: Removal and Replacement
ATF Lines
‹› Clean working conditions for the automatic transmission. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] See: Service Precautions/Clean Working
Conditions.
‹› General repair notes. Refer to => [ Repair Information ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Repair Information.
‹› Seal any open lines and connections with a clean plug from the engine plug set (VAS 6122).
‹› Check ATF level after replacing ATF lines. Refer to => [ ATF Level, Checking ] See: Fluid - A/T/Service and Repair/ATF Level, Checking
CAUTION!
There is a risk of damaging the transmission.
‹› Remove all the plugs on the ATF lines and on the transmission that were installed during removal.
‹› The ATF cooling function will not work and the transmission will be damaged if the plugs are forgotten.
