‹› If the lock button was not secured, do not pull it out from the handle using mechanical aids. Apply compressed air gun to bottom of handle and

press lock button out with compressed air.

Place a new clamp - arrow - on the selector lever handle.

Carefully install the selector lever handle completely on the selector lever. The lock button faces toward the driver.

‹› When doing this, handle must engage into ring groove of the selector lever.

Remove cable ties or assembly tools. The locking button mechanism will engage in the vertical groove on the selector lever. If necessary, press the
locking button into the selector lever handle.

For checking function, shift button mechanism to "R" and " S".

‹› If the selector lever positions cannot be reached, remove the handle again. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] See: .

Secure selector lever handle - 2 - on the lever using the clamp - arrow - using hose clamp pliers (V.A.G 1275).
