Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

‹› Check the SAC clutch plate for distortion => [ SAC Pressure Plate, Checking for Distortion,

‹› If only replacing SAC clutch plate, the adjusting ring must be turned back before installation => [ Adjusting Ring Resetting, Single Disc Clutch

with SAC Pressure Plate ] See: Manual Transmission/Transaxle/Adjustments.

Center the clutch disc using the thrust piece (T40171).

‹› Clutch plate installation location: Spring pack (coil springs) or marking " Getriebeseite" must face pressure plate and transmission.

Press pressure plate on alignment pin.

Position the clutch module so the thrust pad (VW 510) rests on the support ring - arrow A - in the dual mass flywheel.
