Shifter M/T: Adjustments

Shift Mechanism, Adjusting

The following points are essential to ensure correct shift adjustment: 

‹› Operating and transfer elements of shift mechanism must be in proper condition.

‹› Shift mechanism must move freely.

‹› The transmission, clutch and clutch mechanism must be in proper condition. 

‹› Transmission in neutral position.

Procedure

Remove shift knob with cover => [ Shift Knob and Boot ] See: Service and Repair/Shift Knob and Boot.

Remove the front ashtray - 1 - .

Remove the noise insulation over the shift mechanism => [ Noise Insulation ] See: Body and Frame/Sound Proofing / Insulation/Service and
Repair/0B2A Transmission.
