Windshield Assembly Overview

‹› On vehicles with lane change assist, the camera must be calibrated after replacing a window.

Windshield

‹› Distance to roof dimension - a - = 5 mm.

‹› Even out side distance dimension - c - = 5 mm.

Adhesive sealing material

‹› Observe minimum curing time. Refer to => [ Minimum curing times ] See: Service and Repair/Flush-Bonded Windows. 

‹› Apply adhesive directly near window molding or lower molding.

‹› Dimension - d - = 8 mm ±2 mm

‹› Dimension - e - = 23 mm ±2 mm

Gap cover

‹› To remove, pull off of window edge.

‹› Before installing, completely remove adhesive residue from the water deflector using a window scraper.

‹› Cut adhesive bead back from window adhesive but do not remove completely.
