CAUTION:  Always adhere to B-pillar trim installation sequence.

Installing
-

Insert trim - 1 - with retaining clips - 10 - in lower B-pillar trim - 9 -.

-

Guide seatbelt height adjuster switch - 12 - into height adjuster assembly - 8 - Fig. 1.

NOTE:  Do not press switch - 4 - when installing.

Carefully press airbag module - 5 - upward.

-

Slide B-pillar trim up under airbag module - 5 -.

-

Be sure not to damage airbag module with tools when installing.

-

Install bolts - 2 -.

-

Remove bolts - 4 - at bracket, on left and right of B-pillar.

-

Rest of installation is reverse of removal.

-

After assembling trim, make sure seal is properly installed

NOTE:  Function check after installing trim:

-

Height adjuster must audibly engage into all five possible positions (even top position).

-

Button must return by itself to upper position after being actuated.

Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm (31 in lb)
