Notes on the check table

Incorrectly performed testing can cause damage to the system. No bridges other than the connections stated in the check table may be
implemented.

The target values are tailored to the VAG1526 and are not necessarily relevant if other instruments are used.

Please perform the troubleshooting procedures shown on the right-hand side of the table if the figures measured diverge from the target figures

If the figures are correct, also check the wring for loose contacts and short circuiting to positive and Ground (GND). This is necessary in the case
of "sporadic malfunctions" in particular A

Perform the continuity tests (bridging) using adapter set VAG1594.

^

If the figures measured diverge from the targets only slightly, clean the sockets and pins of the test instruments and measuring leads using G 000
700 04 contact spray and perform test again. Check the leads and connections again before replacing Me components involved. This is particularly
important if the target value for measurement of resistance is below 10 Ohms.
