Fill out registration card and mail in. Place sheet 3 of the registration card in the owner information packet for the customer.

Fax copies of Repair Order and completed and signed customer request form to Audi Product Support at: (800) 839-5499. Also retain a copy for
your records.

Rear Side Airbag, Enabling

WARNING!
Observe all safety precautions when working on airbags.

Disconnect battery

-

Remove seat bench

NOTE:  The rear side airbags can only be disabled or enabled together. It is not possible to disable or enable the side airbags individually.

The harness connectors are located at the left and right sides of the vehicle by the "C-pillar"

Cut cable ties for harness connectors.

-

Connect harness connectors -1- for side airbags.

-

Connect harness connectors -1- in cushion cut-out of rear seat bench.

-

Install rear seat bench.

-

Reconnect battery.

WARNING!
There should be nobody inside the vehicle when the battery is connected.

Change coding of airbag control module to the code for rear side airbags installed.
