Clipped in on front at fuel tank

Mark before removing

Locking ring

Use ring nut spanner 3087 to remove and install

Tighten to 120 Nm

to install, place into opening of fuel tank when dry

not individually replaceable

Fuel pump

Can be replaced only complete with connector flange

Check Fuel Pump (FP) electrically

Checking delivery quantity

Checking residual pressure

O-Rings

Check installation position

Fuel return line
-

To remove the Fuel Pump (FP), unclip union piece and disconnect fuel return line at union piece -item 1-, press release button to do so

Fuel screen

not individually replaceable

Clean if soiled

To disconnect the multi-pin harness connector at Fuel Pump (FP), the harness connector must be released. This can be done by hand or by using a
small screwdriver -arrow-.
