Rear axle with mounting bracket, removing and installing

VAG1383 A engine/transmission jack

Removing

Vehicle is standing on its wheels over a car lift

^

Remove hubcap, for light-alloy wheels pull off center cap from disc wheel.

^

Raise vehicle.

^

Remove wheels.

^

Remove cover (arrows)

^

Remove stone impact protection plate for mounting bracket(only for rough terrain suspension)

Note:  To remove and install axle beam, use engine/transmission jack(VAG1383) with holder (135912).
