Front Suspension

From m. y. 1999, coupling with bonded rubber bushings replaces coupling with ball joints.
Coupling with ball joint

1. Coupling with ball joint
2. Track control link
3. Self-locking hex nut 40 Nm plus additional 90° (1/4 -turn)
4. Clip 
5. Self-locking hex nut, 100 Nm 
6. Stabilizer bar

Coupling with rubber bushings

Coupling -A- for the left side of the vehicle

(Arrow) on coupling points in direction of travel

Fixed spacing disc -1- on coupling must be put on stabilizer

Coupling -B- for the right side of the vehicle

(Arrow) on coupling points in direction of travel
(Arrow) shows direction of travel.

Bonded rubber bushings can only be turned to a limited extent. The bolted connections on the suspension links should therefore only be tightened
when the vehicle is standing on the ground.
