Place cover onto the guide of sliding cover and snap clips -arrows- in place.

Install handle for selector lever; Refer to Fig. 7

^

Install center console and extension.

Removing

Remove center console and extension.

^

Disconnect connector -1- for Shift Lock Solenoid switch -2- (not visible in illustration).

^

Unclip and lift out cover -3-.

^

Remove connector -4- for transmission range position and Tiptronic in direction of arrow.

^

Disconnect wiring at connector -5-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Removing

Move selector lever to position "T'

^

Push sleeve -1- down to stop.

^

Pull button -2- to stop (dimension "a") out of selector lever handle -3 and pull handle upward.  
Dimension "a" = 3 mm

Installing

Move selector lever to position "3" .
