Unscrew ATF drain plug -A- using socket attachment 3357 and drain off ATF.
-
Tighten ATF drain plug to 24 Nm.

ATF lines and ATF cooler, cleaning.

Unscrew ATF inspection plug -B-.
-
Screw fitting on tap of filling device VAS5162 into opening of ATF inspection plug -B-.

Turn tap toward filling hose -bottom arrow-. ATF runs into transmission.

Allow at least 4.5 to 5 liters of ATF to run into transmission.

Shift selector lever to "P", start engine and allow it to run at idling speed.

Check and top up ATF level.
Note: All the notes and test conditions given under "Checking ATF level" must be observed.
