Pull in bonded rubber bushing until chamfer (arrows) is in front of hole for axle body.

Now check whether chamfer of outer ring makes uniform contact. Correct installation position again, if necessary.

Now, slowly pull the bonded rubber bushing completely in.

Note:  While the bonded rubber bushing is being pulled in, the tools and bonded rubber bushing must be guided by a second mechanic.

Installing axle beam

Arrows on aluminum washers of bonded rubber bushing must face opposite direction of travel.
1. Hex bolt 

110 Nm plus additional 90° 
Always use new bolts. 

2. Aluminum washer for front bonded rubber bushing 
3. Aluminum washer for rear bonded rubber bushing

Tighten bolts for axle beam to 110 Nm plus additional 90°

Thread in body can be repaired with thread insert made of wire according to DIN 8140 (Helicoil). Thread insert must have same length as thread
in body.
